Keynotes & Workshops
Could your group benefit from a tailored approach to ensure real change?
I deliver programs and customized workshops to global audiences. Unlike other programs, which typically involve a speaker and an audience, my programs include a high level of interactivity. Using proprietary tools and thought exercises I am able to guide participants to think deeper and to begin to enact real change. Live coaching is one of my favorite things and I bring that opportunity to keynotes and workshops when appropriate. I always take time to understand the specific context of a client and to customize or create bespoke content that will have greatest impact.
Do you want to impact a large group through a keynote presentation?
Generating actionable change from large groups and formal presentations can be tricky. I have found the key is not to speak at people but to craft presentations that are tailored and experiential. As I create my presentations, I include multiple modalities and consider exactly how to ensure participants take action.
Is your team stuck?
Smaller workshops are a perfect place to help groups get unstuck and moving forward. I work with clients to help key teams address conflict, work to become unstuck or to kick off working in an effective manner. One of the most helpful ways is to meet with individuals briefly before a joint group session - that way we are able to address both the individual and group dynamics that are so critical to speedy and effective team delivery. Would you like to explore what we could craft together?
Rather than begin with a topic, I often sit with a client to understand the objective behind my engagement and create a presentation experience tailored to those needs. This way we are able to work together to uncover and craft a meaningful objective that will deliver lasting change, even from a single presentation. How might I help you create actionable change?
Case Studies
Could you give a speech to our female executives?
A global company engaged me to give a keynote to 250 of their female executives. I asked them what the ideal experience of the keynote would be. They were flummoxed, so I asked if I could talk to a small, diverse sample of the women who would be attending the keynote. Talking to this smaller group, I found themes around the desire to lead with more impact, to enjoy their work more, and to be heard.
I delivered my workshop “Leadership Excellence: Identifying your Unique Superpowers,” Even as a keynote, I wove in interactive exercises and live coaching.
The presentation received a standing ovation, and I still hear from people who were in the audience a decade later.
What if we can’t control them?
A national association asked me to deliver a webinar on the Power of the Hidden. I explained that with live coaching the participants would gain much more from the talk. The idea of doing anything live petrified them. What if it goes off the rails? What if there is a heckler? What if we can’t control them? I wasn’t scared because I do this all the time.
With patience and practice I was able to convince them that this would be the best path forward.
The webinar was heralded as the most intimate experience they had delivered. People felt like more connected and it felt more real.
